Our Life Together

Rexburg, ID, United States
We've been married for 5 years! We met here in Rexburg, Idaho where we lived in the same apartment complex, volunteered with similar church callings, and attended the same university. It was only a matter of time before we'd bump into each other! Kelly graduated with her bachelors in psychology and has since been working with mentally ill adults and children. She has been accepted to Drexel Univeristy for her Masters in Higher Education Administration and Organizational Management. Sam recently graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with his bachelors in English Literature. We've had so much fun and so many growing experiences in the past 5 years, and have weathered so much good and bad during our young marriage. And we love each other so much more as a result of the happy and sad experiences that we have gone through hand in hand with each other and with the Savior. Our life is a simple one, but it's ours and we're glad to have it.

Josie After Her Big Day Yesterday :)

Josie went to the groomers yesterday! The poor thing was sooo matted that she had to be shaved and couldn't keep most of her cute scruffiness. She was 13 lbs and 9 ounces with the fur :) She also got her rabies vaccination and a shot of antibiotics for her UTI. Also she had blood work done to discover if she had any underlying problems, as well as a urine test. Also, the vet cleaned her teeth; one tooth was loose and it came right out. Oh, and she was already spayed, so we didn't have to worry about that :) All in all she is in good shape. The vet wants me to bring her back in 2 weeks to make sure her UTI is cleared up.

She's becoming more and more comfortable with her new home. She's a little love bug, and she follows Sam and I up and down the stairs and all over. She knows where to sleep, where her food is, and I have been working on the command "sit." She walks pretty well on the leash and doesn't tug a lot. Also, I haven't heard her bark once yet! She rides well in the car too, choosing to lay on the seat next to me or on the backseat while we drive.

We got a little diamond in the rough from the animal shelter, that's for sure!

Here's a pic of her now, after her grooming:

Her cute little under bite ;)

She is totally adorable and you would never guess she was that tiny under all that fur. Scooter has a sweater now too, those little pups needs the extra warmth. Lauren says she can't wait until Josie and Scooter meet.
Enjoy your new little girl!
