Our Life Together

Rexburg, ID, United States
We've been married for 5 years! We met here in Rexburg, Idaho where we lived in the same apartment complex, volunteered with similar church callings, and attended the same university. It was only a matter of time before we'd bump into each other! Kelly graduated with her bachelors in psychology and has since been working with mentally ill adults and children. She has been accepted to Drexel Univeristy for her Masters in Higher Education Administration and Organizational Management. Sam recently graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with his bachelors in English Literature. We've had so much fun and so many growing experiences in the past 5 years, and have weathered so much good and bad during our young marriage. And we love each other so much more as a result of the happy and sad experiences that we have gone through hand in hand with each other and with the Savior. Our life is a simple one, but it's ours and we're glad to have it.

Dream Weaver...the Family Edition

Well I have had a bunch of dreams this weekend, mostly revolving around you guys! I think it has to do with the fact that in one blessed month I get to have a Girls' Trip to North Carolina with my mom, my sister, and my grandma. So I'll get to visit Maryland briefly and hopefully see my best friend Stacey. Then we drive down to N. Carolina for a week on the beach. We'll be leaving Thursday night, which is perfect timing for me to catch an overnight flight to SLC, where I will hook up with my Sam-a-lamma and drive to Collie Rado for our camping trip!!! Busy and Fun 2 weeks! From the seashore to the mountains :)

But I digress, onto the dreams...

Friday night I dreamed that I was swimming in the ocean with the guys; I don't remember Sam or Jake or Bill but I remember Dad and Matt and Aaron. I don't know why I was the only gal, but I do remember being the only one scared :) We were all swimming at night time in the ocean, and we were in deep water, and I was so afraid that sharks were going to attack us! The guys kept reassuring me that there weren't going to be any sharks, but I wasn't convinced. At one point I became really scared (I imagined a Great White coming out of the water, mouth up) and I lunged over to Aaron for safety, accidentally pushing him briefly under the water. He got some water in his mouth and came up annoyed, and said, "Thanks a lot Kelly." Lol.
There was no shark and that was the end of that dream. :)

Last night I dreamed of the Lewis family again. This time it was Christmas time, and we were having Christmas all together at Holly and Larry's house, except for their house looked like my nanny and pop's house in Glen Burnie, Maryland (which is where I spent many Christmases as a child.) I don't remember the details, except for the happy feeling.

Last night I also dreamed that my mom, my grandma, my Aunt Sue, my sister Jess, and I were walking along these awesome hiking trails. They were beautiful! Some were more east coast with their plant life, other trails were more southwestern with cactus, etc. As we walked we came to these ice cream vending machines; there were lots of them :) We each got an ice-cream and walked back the way we had came. By this time the hiking trail had turned more into a park and there were people hanging out in bathing suits, and a hot dog stand, among other beachy things. Again, I just remember feeling happy :) I can't wait to see everyone!!!
