Our Life Together

Rexburg, ID, United States
We've been married for 5 years! We met here in Rexburg, Idaho where we lived in the same apartment complex, volunteered with similar church callings, and attended the same university. It was only a matter of time before we'd bump into each other! Kelly graduated with her bachelors in psychology and has since been working with mentally ill adults and children. She has been accepted to Drexel Univeristy for her Masters in Higher Education Administration and Organizational Management. Sam recently graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with his bachelors in English Literature. We've had so much fun and so many growing experiences in the past 5 years, and have weathered so much good and bad during our young marriage. And we love each other so much more as a result of the happy and sad experiences that we have gone through hand in hand with each other and with the Savior. Our life is a simple one, but it's ours and we're glad to have it.

Happy Mother's Day and Happy Anniversary!

Happy Mother's Day to each of the moms out there, to the women who have their own children and to the women who have mothered others' children.  Motherhood is such an amazing responsibility and fantastic journey. Thank you to my mom who strived her best to give me the tools I would need to be a happy child and a happy woman. Thank you to my other mother who raised Sam in such a way that has guided him in becoming a good man and a loving husband.

And Happy Belated Anniversary to Sam and Matt this past Thursday, May 7th. I can't believe it's been a year already since the kidney transplant.  Thank you Matt for the sacrifice and courage you willingly offered to your brother.  You have changed the course of both Sam's and my life by giving us hope and an opportunity to have a much more healthy, normal life. And thank you Nic and Lauren for your encouragement and support.  I cannot think of Matt's sacrifice without also thinking of you. And thank you my dear Sam for your courage and your example of endurance and optimism in the face of such a hardship. I am amazed at how much you have been a source of strength for me even while you've battled at regaining your own strength. I am to say the least, a very blessed woman because of each of you.

Love,
Kelly

Thank you Kelly.......
It is said that behind every good man there is a good woman, and it is my experience and observation that this is generally true.
