My first dream occurred at my grandparents' home. (I spent most of my weekends there as a kid and lived there with my grandpa during my early college years. I have lots of good memories there. I still dream about my grandparents occasionally even though they've been deceased for many years.) In my dream, my sister and I were there at the house alone; we were adults I believe, and this lady broke into the house and was holding my sister and I captive. She wasn't a physical threat, but I had a feeling in my dream that she could be. The funny part of the dream is that she was stealing weird stuff like Christmas ornaments and loose change. The anxious part of the dream was me trying to text or call my grandparents and other relatives and not be caught doing so by the lady. I was able to get through to my family, although I got frustrated at them because they didn't know the urgency of my call and they tried to talk casually with me until I was able to talk over them and tell them to not come home because they would be in danger if they did. I think they called the police for me and I knew things would work out, but that was pretty much the end of that dream.
The next dream was much scarier. I was back at Temple Square in Salt Lake City as a missionary. The Nazis had come to Temple Square and were killing all of the sister missionaries. I tried to hide in one of the visitor centers but all of the hiding spots were really lame. For example, I hid underneath a bed. Then a Nazi woman came and I think she shot me in the head. Then the dream started over, but in my mind I knew I had just died but somehow got to live again and hide again. Just like before, the hiding spots available were lame. This time I hid behind a floor-length curtain, and again I was shot. This time I was shot by a general and shot in the neck. The dream repeated itself a few times, and I died at least 3 times.
At one point I actually yelled "No!" in a scared voice and woke up Sam. Needless to say, it was not by best night's sleep.
You may be asking yourself, "Did she watch something scary before bed?" Yes, but only if you count watching Sam playing the Final Fantasy video game scary :)
Oh, well. I made up for the scary dreams by having an awesome dream last night. I dreamed that I was pregnant and went into labor. I had a quick labor (less then 2 hours) and had a beautiful girl with lots of dark hair and pretty dark eyes. She was perfect! She had such a sweet face, rosy pink skin, cute little toes, and somehow I knew she was sweet and intelligent. And I named her Isabel Sophie. An added bonus to the dream is that I left the hospital that same day, felt great, and even got to fit right into the jeans that I currently fit into :)

You feel threatened by your mother in law to have a baby????
Uh oh, should I feel threatened?!? ;)
Interestingly though, I just realized that my dreams one night were primarily about death and the next night the dream was about life.
Actually I don't think there is too much analysis to the dreams. I frequently dream about my family, although not with such scary elements. The scary elements could be because I've felt so stressed lately. The missionary part is odd. I had a dream just a week ago that I was sent to Temple Square again as a missionary and I was miserable--I was married and I turned to the A.P. and said "I'm married. I don't belong here. My mission is my husband." And I left to be with Sam. I've been really involved with my church calling, maybe that's a reason for the church dreams? The baby dream could be that I have 2 cousins who are pregnant and are both due within about a month, so I've been following their updates. I had a dream a few weeks ago of giving birth to a boy, again another really easy delivery, but the boy was really advanced and intelligent. He could raise himself up on his arms soon after birth!
It's the drugs Kelly...they'll give you wacked out dreams everytime!! HA HA, Just kidding =D
I think we dream about stuff that we're thinking about...now why it gets twisted and doesn't make any sense...who knows??
My legs have been really sore from running alot lately and I dreamt that a bunch of midgets were beating me up. So, i think our daily lives do influence our dreams.

To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.
On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation.
To dream that you have been robbed, denotes that you are experiencing an identity crisis or you are suffering some sort of loss in your life. Alternatively, you may feel that someone has stolen your success or has taken credit for something you did.
To see your own family in your dream, represents security, warmth and love. It could also symbolize bitterness, jealousy, or rivalry, depending on your relationship with your family. Alternatively, it could mean that you are overly dependent on your family, especially if the family members are in your recurring dreams .Consider also the significance of a particular family member or the relationship you have with them.
To dream that you are hiding, suggests that you are keeping some secret or withholding some information. You may not be facing up to a situation or not want to deal with an issue. However, you may be getting ready to reveal and confess before somebody finds out.
To dream that you are somebody else is hiding, indicates a need for security and protection. In particular, to dream that you are hiding from some authority figure (police, parents, teacher...), implies feelings of guilt.
To see a baby in your dream, signifies innocence, warmth and new beginnings. Babies symbolize something in your own inner nature that is pure, vulnerable, helpless and/or uncorrupted. If you find a baby in your dream, then it suggests that you have acknowledged your hidden potential. If you dream that you forgot you had a baby, then it suggests that you are trying hide your own vulnerabilities; You do not want to let others know of your weaknesses. If you dream that you are on your way to the hospital to have a baby, then it signifies your issues of dependency and your desire to be completely care for. Perhaps you are trying to get out of some responsibility. If you are pregnant, then a more direct interpretation may simply mean that you are experiencing some anxieties of making it to the hospital when the time comes.
To dream that you or someone is having a baby, suggests that you are giving birth to a new idea or project. It also represents new beginnings or some upcoming event. A more direct interpretation of this dream, may represent your desires/ anxieties of giving birth or the anticipation for such an event to occur.
Kelly - who knows. Usually when I start having really super weird dreams, something changes in my life. From what I can, something new and exciting is about to happen. You will experience a period of rebirth or growth. Good luck and keep us posted.
